ICU/CCU Registered Nurse — Bowling Green, KY
Nights | 13-Week Contract
This ICU/CCU position is a night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) travel nursing role based in Bowling Green, KY, with a projected start date of September 3, 2026.
The Unit
The ICU/CCU manages high-acuity critical care patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and complex interventional support. The unit operates with a multidisciplinary team and tech support based on census. Nurses float in rotation with core staff.
Clinical Scope
- Hemodynamic monitoring and management
- Impella, IABP, and EKOS support
- Temporary pacemaker management
- Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management
- Central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
Schedule & Hours
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts
- Flexibility with scheduling; collaborative day/night shift environment
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1–2 years of ICU/CCU experience
- Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- PALS preferred
Dress Code
Scrubs in any color; no denim, capris, or camouflage
