Medical/Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Weatherford, TX

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Hours: 36 guaranteed per week | Start Date: September 21, 2026

About the Unit

This Medical/Telemetry unit provides care for general med-surg and telemetry patients across a rotating weekend schedule. The RN functions as a clinical decision-maker responsible for delivering safe, high-quality care within established nursing standards and facility policies. Floating to other units may be required based on census needs.

Clinical Scope

• IV initiation
• Nasogastric tube insertion
• Foley catheter placement
• Dressing changes
• Activities of daily living (ADL) support
• Proficiency expected in patient experience standards including bedside reporting, hourly rounding, AIDET communication, and service recovery

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (compact accepted; temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele specialty experience
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs with facility embroidery (proof of purchase required)
• No artificial, gel, or next-generation nails
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Visible piercings limited to ears only
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
