Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU nurse for a 90-week contract assignment. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 3 × 12-hour schedule, totaling 36 hours per week with guaranteed hours.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of strong cardiac PCU experience
- Current RN license (GA or compact license in hand)
- NIHSS certification required
- Night shift availability
Clinical Scope
You'll provide direct patient care in a cardiac step-down unit, managing patients transitioning from acute care to lower acuity settings. Your responsibilities will include cardiac monitoring, medication administration, post-procedure care, and patient/family education in a supportive team environment.
