Medical-Surgical Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Nurse for a night shift role in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. This is a 90-week contract position.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Georgia or compact nursing license (must be current and in hand)
- AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
- Guaranteed hours with a stable, predictable schedule
What You'll Do
Work in a medical-surgical unit delivering direct patient care, managing acute and post-operative patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team during night hours when independent clinical judgment is essential.
