Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Watertown, NY

This 13-week travel contract places an experienced Emergency Department RN on a night shift rotation in Watertown, NY. The ED manages a broad range of acuity levels, requiring clinicians who can rapidly identify and intervene in life-threatening situations while delivering compassionate, comprehensive patient care.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3×12-hour shifts
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Charge nurse duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Must reside outside the 100-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience

• Critical care and charge nurse background

Clinical Expectations

• Rapid assessment and intervention in emergent and life-threatening presentations
• IV access, medication administration, and phlebotomy (certification completed during orientation)
• Safe patient handling and mobility
• Lethal dysrhythmia exam completion during probationary period; defibrillation certification within six months
