Emergency Department – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Emergency Department nurse for night shift coverage. This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 20:00–07:00 (4 x 10-hour nights)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 21, 2026

Clinical Environment

You'll join the Emergency Department, managing a diverse patient population across all acuity levels. This is a fast-paced environment where you'll handle triaging, acute care, and procedures typical of an active ED.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Tennessee)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Experience in emergency medicine or acute care strongly preferred

What to Expect

• Direct patient care in a high-volume setting
• Collaboration with physicians, advanced practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams
• Standard ED nursing responsibilities: assessment, treatment initiation, patient monitoring, and documentation
