Registered Nurse – ICU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its ICU team on a 13-week contract. This is a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week with guaranteed hours.
About the Role
You will deliver coordinated nursing care to a patient population requiring high-acuity monitoring and intervention. Your responsibilities include:
- Collecting and analyzing patient assessment data to identify care needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
- Supervising and directing nursing staff activities
- Providing patient and family education
- Participating in discharge planning and care coordination
- Delegating appropriately and managing team responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required
- BSN preferred

- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Holidays: RTO not approved
