Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (nights)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (nights only; 36-hour contracts only)
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
The Role
This Med-Surg travel RN position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient population in an acute care setting. You'll supervise and direct nursing staff across various levels, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and apply critical thinking and independent clinical judgment throughout the care continuum.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, analyze data, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate interventions to achieve patient outcomes
- Coordinate care delivery across disciplines and promote a safe, therapeutic environment
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
- Delegate tasks appropriately among the healthcare team
Requirements
- Active RN license (state of practice)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- Current BLS (AHA-approved)
- ACLS (AHA or ARC) required
- BSN preferred
Additional Notes
- Night shift only — 36-hour guarantee
- Holiday time-off requests will not be approved
- Previous acute care electronic charting experience required
