Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hours/week)
Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care on a medical-surgical unit. You'll assess patients, develop and implement evidence-based care plans, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care based on nursing standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient progress
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and support services
- Educate patients and families about their health and treatment
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate team activities
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Experience with electronic health records
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
