ICU – Travel RN | Night Shift | Stockbridge, GA

Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Contract Duration: 20 weeks | Start Date: November 9, 2026

Unit Overview

This adult and geriatric ICU manages a high-acuity patient population across a broad spectrum of critical diagnoses, including ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, cardiogenic shock, GI bleeding, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD requiring CRRT. The unit runs 24 rooms with an average daily census of 19.

Clinical Skills Required

• Ventilator management and ETT/NT suctioning
• Central line care and management
• CVA/Acute Stroke management
• CVVHD/CRRT
• High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Post-cardiac and post-neurosurgery patient management (not directly from OR)

Scheduling & Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday coverage expected based on holidays falling within the assignment period
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed; no travel pairs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Active GA RN or Compact license required at time of submission
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required prior to start)
• Scrub color: Navy blue

Local candidates are accepted. Full compliance required to start on time.
