Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:00)
- Start Date: Mid-November 2026
- Call Coverage: 2 call shifts per month
The Role
This OR RN position supports a busy surgical service line with a strong emphasis on orthopedic, neurological, and trauma cases. Candidates must bring solid hands-on experience across these specialties to hit the ground running in a fast-paced operative environment. Scrubs are provided on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical background in orthopedic, neuro, and/or trauma surgical cases
- Travel RN experience preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
What to Expect
- High-acuity surgical cases across ortho, neuro, and trauma specialties
- Collaborative OR team in an academic clinical environment
- Shift flexibility around the preferred 07:00–17:00 schedule
- Orientation includes facility-specific modules (approximately 4–6 hours, completed on-site)
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
