MRI Technologist – Travel Position

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in its Radiology/MRI department. This is a day shift role (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), scheduled as 4 x 10-hour days.

About the Unit

You'll work in a busy MRI suite performing a diverse range of imaging studies, including neuro, cardiac, liver, pelvis, and pediatric scans. The department operates two MRI scanners and maintains a collaborative team of four technologists during the day shift, with on-call overnight coverage available.

What You'll Do

• Perform independent MRI scans across multiple clinical protocols
• Position patients and explain procedures clearly
• Manage IV placements as needed for contrast studies
• Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team
• Assist colleagues across the department as needed

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) certification (required)
• Minimum 6 months MRI technologist experience
• Ability to scan independently
• IV skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac MR experience
• Advanced neuro imaging experience

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 4 days per week
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
