Interventional Radiology RN — Travel Contract | Burbank, CA

This 13-week contract places you in a busy Interventional Radiology suite at an acute care facility serving adult and geriatric patients. The unit performs a broad range of complex vascular and interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 5x8-hour schedule
• Call required 7 out of every 14 days — a mix of weeknight call (approximately 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekend call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM), alternating 3 days one week and 4 the next, including every other weekend
• Weekend coverage required

Clinical Scope

You'll support a full spectrum of IR procedures, including:

• Cerebral, carotid, renal, and peripheral angiography
• Embolizations, stent placements, and endovascular interventions
• Vertebroplasty, discography, and neurologic thrombolysis
• Nephrostomy, thoracentesis, and PICC/implanted port management
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Hemostasis management, sheath removal, and vascular closure systems

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of IR experience
• ACLS and BLS required
• Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission
• Charge experience preferred
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted under local guidelines
