Cardiac Cath Lab – Bowling Green, KY
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cath Lab RN or Scrub Tech for a 13-week assignment in a newly renovated cardiac catheterization lab. You'll work in a dynamic, procedure-focused environment performing diagnostic and interventional cases.
Unit Details
This cardiac cath lab operates two suites with a 4-person team model per patient. The unit handles a full range of procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), cardioversions, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, tilt tests, and stress testing. New state-of-the-art equipment was installed in March 2023, including advanced electrophysiology technology.
Schedule & Expectations
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 per week, guaranteed
- Call: 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weekdays per week
- Float: Cath lab and outpatient stress test coverage
- Dress Code: Solid-color scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Current KY Rad Tech licensure (techs: ARRT and RCIS certification)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab procedural experience
- 1 year of cath lab travel experience
- Solid understanding of diagnostic and interventional cardiology
