Night Shift Registered Nurse
Position Details

About the Role
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts in its Intermediate Care unit. You will deliver routine and complex nursing care independently, using the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for your assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care addressing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care accurately and thoroughly.
- Educate patients and families on health management and learning needs.
- Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to manage the clinical environment effectively.
Requirements
- License: RN license in Texas or compact state.
- Certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: 1+ year in a related nursing specialty preferred.
Onboarding
New hires will be precepted by a trained staff member and must complete organizational entry competency validation and unit-specific competency validation within the first 30 days. Annual competency verification is required.
