About the Role
Join a Level 3 NICU caring for high-acuity neonates across two units. You'll work alongside a dedicated team including Charge RNs, Code Neonatal RNs, nursing clerks, and lactation support staff. Wear navy blue scrubs.
Key Expectations
- Scheduling: Must be flexible with scheduling; no block scheduling available.
- Float Responsibility: You will function as a float nurse, rotating across all units within the Women's Hospital. Float shifts do not include a patient assignment.
- Scope: Provide direct neonatal intensive care, monitor patients, assist with procedures, and support clinical protocols specific to Level 3 NICU practice.
Required Credentials & Licenses
- Current RN license (verification via Nursys required for submission)
- Two professional references
- Criminal background check clearance
- Standard onboarding requirements include immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap), TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA), fit testing, and health statement
