Registered Nurse – NICU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its NICU. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Flexible scheduling required; no block scheduling
- Functional float to units within and outside the Women's Hospital (no patient assignment)
Unit Description
You'll work in a Level 3 NICU managing high-acuity neonatal patients across two units. The team includes a Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Tech. Navy blue scrubs are worn.
Requirements
- Current RN license (active, Nursys-verified)
- NICU experience and competency
- Completion of facility-specific onboarding, including Specialty Exam and Core Competencies
- Current immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- Two-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Fit testing
- PALS certification (EPLS)
- Professional references and criminal background check
