NICU RN – 90-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its NICU. This is a functional float role supporting high-acuity neonatal patients across the unit.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Guaranteed weekly hours: 36
- Flexibility required: No block scheduling. You will float to all units within the facility as needed, without carrying a primary patient assignment.
- Contract duration: 90 weeks
Clinical Environment
You'll work in a Level 3 NICU caring for critically ill and premature infants requiring advanced respiratory support, monitoring, and intervention. The unit is staffed with Charge RNs, Code Neonatal RNs, clerks, and lactation specialists.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Texas)
- NICU experience preferred
- Flexibility and comfort with floating across departments
- Navy blue scrubs
Onboarding
Standard credentialing, immunizations, background check, and EMR orientation will be required prior to your start date.
