Emergency Department RN — Houston, TX

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This position supports a busy Emergency Department in Houston, TX, caring for a diverse, fast-paced patient population requiring acute and emergent interventions.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Clinical Scope

Staff nurses in this ED manage high-acuity emergency patients with a broad scope of procedures, including:

• Endotracheal intubation
• Central line placement
• Emergency stabilization and response

Required Skills & Certifications

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC
• Prior emergency department experience — required
• Strong emergency response skills — required
• TNCC — preferred (candidates with this certification will be prioritized)
