Certified Surgical Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) to join the operating room team. You will provide essential support during surgical procedures, implement and monitor patient care plans, and serve as a key coordinator across all disciplines to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
Shift & Schedule
- Days/Times: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Clinical Experience Required
Strong experience in the following specialties:
- Orthopedic surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Robotic-assisted procedures (multiple specialties)
- ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Monitor and document patient condition and care activities
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately
- Coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team
- Apply critical thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
Required Credentials & Certifications
- Current NBSTSA certification
- Active surgical technologist license
- License verification through Nursys
- Immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB screening)
- Successful background check and drug screening
Start Date: November 15, 2026
