Cardiac and Vascular Operating Room Nurse

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Cardiac and Vascular OR nurse for a 13-week assignment. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) on the day schedule (7 AM–7 PM), with a start date available every Monday.

Clinical Scope

You'll manage patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures, with a strong emphasis on endovascular cases. You'll work with Levels 3 and 4 complexity procedures and will float to the General OR as needed. Preferred experience includes neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotics.

Scheduling & Call Requirements

• Three 12-hour AM shifts per week
• Call requirement: 48–60 hours per 4-week period
• Weekend call is mandatory
• You may sign up for call on scheduled days off or on working days
• On-call rooms are available at the facility
• Call duties remain at your assigned location
• Typically 1 day's notice for multi-campus float assignments

Flexibility

You may float between three campuses with scheduled cases; on-call responsibilities stay at your booked location.

Qualifications

• Georgia or compact license (in hand)
• Strong endovascular experience required
• Level 3 and 4 cardiac/vascular procedure experience essential
• Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, and Robotics experience preferred
