Medical ICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Medical ICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting managing complex medical conditions and trauma patients.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (3 days per week)
• Every third weekend required
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
• Weekly orientation (Mondays, except holidays)
• No float required

Clinical Scope

You'll work in the Medical ICU, caring for critically ill patients with acute medical conditions and level 1 trauma experience. The role requires strong assessment, critical thinking, and ability to manage multiple complex patients in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years related ICU or acute care experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Massachusetts RN license
• BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications current at time of assignment
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (relocation or commute required)
• Candidates previously employed by the facility as travel, permanent, or per diem staff must have been separated for one year minimum
