Behavioral Health Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks a compassionate RN for its behavioral health unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a supportive inpatient environment, working day shifts with structured hours and predictable scheduling.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in Kentucky
- Current CPR certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Direct patient care experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- One year of inpatient behavioral health experience
- One year of medical/surgical nursing experience
What You'll Do
Care for patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting, delivering evidence-based nursing care, medication administration, patient education, and therapeutic communication. You'll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team in a structured, supportive environment.

A patient, detail-oriented nurse with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in mental health care. Clinical judgment, compassion, and the ability to de-escalate and build trust with vulnerable patients are essential.
