Registered Nurse – Specialty Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care in a specialty cardiac environment. You will supervise and direct nursing staff activities, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to ensure excellent patient outcomes in a safe, healing, and compassionate setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Hours: 36 or 48-hour weeks
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Holiday RTO: Not approved
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, analyze, and develop individualized care plans for assigned patients
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers on care delivery
- Implement clinical interventions and monitor patient progress toward outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate team duties
- Provide health education to patients and families
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Valid RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
- Electronic health record (EHR) experience required
