Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the emergency department. You will be an essential member of the patient care team, delivering direct and indirect care through the nursing process. This is a day shift position in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Shift & Contract Details
- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, days
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission, including medical history, vital signs, and review of diagnostic results
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and patient confidentiality
- Prioritize patient safety and respond to changing clinical needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Respect diverse patient backgrounds and cultural considerations
Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Current New Hampshire RN License required or eligibility to obtain
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Clinical experience preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
Additional Information
- Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation provided
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
