NICU Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment in the NICU. You'll work nights (3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week) supporting high-risk neonatal patients and attending deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide respiratory support
- Manage and set up ventilators, oscillators, and CPAP systems
- Obtain and analyze blood gases
- Provide respiratory care for critically ill neonates
Required Qualifications
- Current Georgia respiratory therapy license
- NICU experience
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
- 36 hours/week
- Start date: October 26, 2026
