Operating Room Specialist – Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Services

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Operating Room nurse to join its surgical team. You'll work in a high-volume OR environment supporting orthopedic, neurosurgical, and general surgical cases.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 × 10-hour day shifts per week
• 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
• Start date: November 23, 2026

Clinical Focus

You'll assist with a diverse caseload including:

• Orthopedic procedures (joint replacements, arthroscopic repairs)
• Neurosurgical cases
• General surgical scopes

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of strong OR experience
• Current RN license (Georgia)
• Current BLS certification
• OR certifications preferred (CNOR or equivalent)
• Proficiency in orthopedic and neurosurgical instrumentation

What You'll Do

Circulate and scrub surgical cases in a fast-paced OR environment. You'll work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technicians to ensure smooth, efficient procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
