Position Overview
Join the Maternal Newborn Service for a 12-hour night shift role (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) with an every-other-weekend rotation. This is a 13-week contract assignment.
About the Role
You'll provide the full scope of perinatal care, including:
- Prenatal evaluation of mother and fetus
- Intrapartum care for labor and birth
- Intraoperative and recovery care for operative deliveries
- Postpartum and maternal/newborn couplet care for well babies
- Special care for premature and high-acuity newborns
The facility collaborates with a regional medical center to ensure comprehensive perinatal services.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of labor & delivery experience preferred
- Comfort in the OR preferred
- Current BLS-AHA, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Certification required
- Flu vaccine required during onboarding (declinations not accepted)
- Must have been separated from the facility for 6+ months (if previously employed as permanent, per diem, or contract staff)
Schedule & Compensation
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
- No float required
- Biweekly orientation
