Psychiatric RN — Inpatient Behavioral Health | Springfield, VT

Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (8-hour nights)

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 16, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week

This opportunity is with an inpatient adult behavioral health unit serving individuals 18 and older from Vermont and surrounding counties in New Hampshire. The unit receives referrals from crisis teams, emergency departments, and community outpatient providers, and offers a collaborative, close-knit care environment.

Clinical Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of current, hands-on psychiatric nursing experience (required)
• Current phlebotomy skills with ability to perform blood draws independently (required)
• ACLS and CPI certification strongly preferred
• Active AHA BLS certification (required)
• Valid Vermont RN license (required at time of submission)
• RN Psychiatry and Phlebotomy skills checklists (current within one year) required
• One supervisory reference from within the past two years required

Scheduling Details:

• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Must be available to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving/weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day/weekend after, New Year's Eve through New Year's Day/weekend after
• Block scheduling will not be considered
• All time-off requests (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at time of profile upload — no RTO requests accepted after submission

Additional Notes:

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Personal vehicle required
