Registered Nurse – Med/Surg – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care to a med/surg patient population on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You will supervise and direct nursing staff activities, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and apply critical thinking and independent judgment to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data; develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other clinical disciplines
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment
- Provide patient and family education and ensure continuity of care through discharge planning
- Delegate and coordinate team member responsibilities
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in California required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum two years recent nursing experience
- Vaccination compliance as a condition of employment
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Location: Lodi, CA
