Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Location: Lodi, CA
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the emergency department on the night shift. You will deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role involves both direct patient care and supervisory responsibilities, including directing nursing staff activities and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff members
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing, and compassionate care environment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
