Emergency Department Nurse – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department. You'll deliver coordinated care for a diverse patient population, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans
• Provide direct patient care and health education to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate tasks to various levels of nursing staff
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and support services
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, healing environment using critical thinking and clinical judgment

Requirements

• Active RN licensure in California required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum two years of recent acute care experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required

Assignment Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
