Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced RN to join the Emergency Department on the night shift. You'll deliver coordinated nursing care to a diverse patient population, manage acute and emergent conditions, and work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the broader care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, analyze clinical data, and develop individualized care plans aligned with evidence-based standards
- Provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs and patient status, and respond to acute changes
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff and team members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
