RN – Medical-Surgical Nursing
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Lodi, CA
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients on a medical-surgical unit. You'll supervise and direct nursing staff activities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and apply critical thinking and professional judgment to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to inform care planning
- Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with established nursing standards
- Supervise and coordinate duties of nursing team members
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS certification from an approved vendor
- At least 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Schedule & Hours
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
