Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical unit, working the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You will deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care to an assigned patient group, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions using critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff; delegate appropriately
- Coordinate care delivery across disciplines; participate in discharge planning
- Provide patient and family education; communicate health information to the care team
- Maintain a safe, healing environment aligned with established standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Contract Details
- 13-week assignment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Start date: November 9, 2026
