Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in the Emergency Department. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while supervising and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and analyze health data to identify care needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with evidence-based interventions
- Supervise and direct nursing staff activities; coordinate care across departments
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and support team efficiency
- Maintain a safe, healing environment for all patients
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- BLS certification (current)
- ACLS certification (current)
- PALS certification (current)
- NIH Stroke Scale competency
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
