Registered Nurse – Day Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated, compassionate patient care in an acute care setting. You will supervise and direct nursing staff, collaborate across disciplines, and apply critical thinking to drive positive patient outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Day Shift
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and analyze data to identify care needs and diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with appropriate interventions
- Supervise and delegate duties to various levels of nursing staff
- Coordinate care delivery with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing environment grounded in professional nursing standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
