Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Lodi, CA
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care to medical-surgical patients while supervising and directing assigned nursing staff. This is a charge nurse or lead RN position requiring strong clinical judgment, delegation skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data; develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care delivery across the healthcare team
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate appropriately and manage unit operations during your shift
- Maintain a safe, healing environment aligned with established standards of care
Requirements
- Current RN license in California
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- At least 2 years recent experience in the field
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
Schedule & Commitment
- Night shift (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 9, 2026
