Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. You'll deliver coordinated care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role includes supervisory responsibilities—you'll direct and support various levels of nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans using the nursing process
- Supervise and coordinate duties of nursing team members
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to optimize patient care
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, healing environment
Requirements
- RN licensure in California required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Day shift availability (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Location: Lodi, CA
