Cardiac Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry RN for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in Westminster, CO. This is a 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Unit Details
Clinical Responsibilities
- Titrate cardiac drips (analgesics, anticoagulants, antihypertensives)
- Manage post-catheterization patients
- Co-sign telemetry strips (24/7 tech monitoring support available)
- Provide respiratory support via CPAP and high-flow nasal cannula as needed
Scheduling & Expectations
- 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week rotation (self-scheduled with block scheduling available)
- May float to ICU (low-acuity holds), PCU/Stepdown, or MS-Tele as needed
- Holiday commitment required
- Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts for 13-week assignments
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Experience with cardiac drips and post-cath care
- Valid driver's license (60-mile radius)
Additional Information
- Caribbean blue scrubs
- Unit-specific orientation provided during first week
- Charting via established electronic system
