Ambulatory Care Medical Assistant
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Dermatology and Gastroenterology clinics in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends or major holidays
- 13-week contract
Responsibilities
You will float between Dermatology and Gastroenterology departments, supporting clinical workflows including patient intake, vital signs, wound care, phlebotomy, suture removal, and medication administration assistance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of ambulatory care experience
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and wound care
- Current BLS certification
- Valid RN/MA license
- Government-issued ID with mailing address
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of biologic medications
- Suture removal experience
- Electronic health record proficiency
