Emergency Department RN — Cypress, TX

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This Emergency Department position places you in a fast-paced ED environment in Cypress, TX, caring for a diverse patient population across a broad spectrum of acuity levels. The department handles time-sensitive presentations including stroke (tPA administration), STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic injuries.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating weekends; no on-call requirement
• No floating required

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 2, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience (required)
• Active RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC

Preferred Clinical Experience

• tPA administration
• STEMI response and care
• Laceration repair
• Orthopedic care management

Unit Details

• Shift staffing includes charge, , bedside RNs, a health unit coordinator, and a tech each shift
• Positive, team-oriented culture is a priority

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrubs
