Oncology Nursing Position
About the Role
Join the facility's oncology unit for a 90-week contract assignment. You'll provide compassionate care to patients receiving cancer treatment in a supportive clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 4 days per week
- Every other weekend
- No call required
Clinical Details
You'll work in oncology, managing patients across the continuum of cancer care. Be prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license (verified through Nursys)
- Professional references and skills checklist
- Standard onboarding credentials including:
- Immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit testing
- Background check and educational verification
- ACLS/PALS (facility-specific requirements apply)
What to Expect
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
- Ceil blue scrubs
- Electronic health record system training provided upon arrival
