Medical-Surgical Nurse — Travel Contract | Wichita, KS
We're seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Wichita, KS. This is a night shift position on a med-surg unit with a 90-week contract and a start date of November 15, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- No call required
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Unit Details
This med-surg unit serves a general acute care patient population with standard medical and surgical nursing needs. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic inpatient environment and be prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or at another campus within the Wichita area.

Required Credentials (for Submission)
- Active RN license (Nursys verification)

Onboarding Requirements Include
- EKG competency exam
- Point-of-care glucose testing competency
- Core competency assessment
- Standard immunization documentation (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test, health statement, color vision screening
- Background check, employment and education verification
- Drug screen (11-panel)
