Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Position Details
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 4 days per week (12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: Every other weekend; no call
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
- Start Date: November 15, 2026

Unit Overview
You'll join the medical-surgical unit at the facility, providing care to patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. This role includes the possibility of floating to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita, depending on census and staffing needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Kansas)
- Nursys registration
- License verification
- Core clinical competencies including EKG interpretation and phlebotomy
- Standard immunizations: MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and 2-step TB screening (PPD or IGRA)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records
