ICU Travel Nurse | Wichita, KS | Days

We're seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Wichita, KS, with a start date of December 13, 2026.

Shift Details

• 4 x 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• No call

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week

Unit Overview

This intensive care unit manages complex, high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring and critical intervention. Candidates should be comfortable with a broad ICU patient population and demonstrate strong independent clinical judgment. Float coverage to similar units within the Wichita area may be required.

Dress Code

• Ceil blue scrubs

Required Credentials & Licensure

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• License/Certificate Verification

Onboarding Requirements

• Specialty-specific competency exam and core competency assessment
• EKG exam
• Color vision screening
• Point-of-care glucose testing certification
• Standard immunization records: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza
• TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot)
• Respiratory fit test
• Background check, employment verification, and education verification
• Two professional references required at submission
• Skills checklist required at submission
