PACU Nurse – Trauma & Critical Care

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced PACU nurse to join a high-acuity post-operative unit managing trauma, surgical, and procedurally sedated patients. You'll work in a fast-paced environment caring for adults and pediatric patients across a range of specialties.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
• Call requirement: 2 on-call shifts Monday–Friday + 1 on-call 12-hour shift per 6-week cycle
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Orientation: 16 hours

Required Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Minimum 2 years critical care or PACU experience
• Level I Trauma background and ICU experience required
• Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS

Preferred Experience

• SICU, MICU, or CTICU background
• Charge nurse experience

Clinical Scope

Additional Details

• Possible float to GI or Pain Center as needed
• Scrubs provided
• No pre-approved time off
• Valid state license and certifications required at submission
