PACU Registered Nurse — Asheville, NC

13-Week Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hrs/week guaranteed)

This PACU position is based in Asheville, NC, within a busy peri-anesthesia department managing a diverse, high-acuity patient population that includes trauma and pediatric cases. The unit is well-supported with dedicated HUC coverage and patient care technicians assigned to specific pods who can draw labs, perform catheterizations, and transport patients.

Shift & Scheduling

• Day shift: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• Schedules set in 6-week blocks
• 3 call shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Float within peri-anesthesia areas (Endoscopy, Pre-Op, Phase II)

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale experience required

Preferred Clinical Background

• Trauma experience
• Pediatric experience
• Ventilator monitoring proficiency

Dress Code

• Surgical green or navy scrubs
