Telemetry/Cardiac RN — Night Shift | Glens Falls, NY | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity is on a dedicated remote telemetry unit focused on adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring due to cardiovascular disease and other cardiac conditions. RNs play a central role in treatment planning and patient care.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours scheduled per week; 24-hour guaranteed weekly hours
• Every other weekend required
• No block scheduling; no on-call requirements

Clinical Scope

• Primary patient population: adult and geriatric telemetry/cardiac patients
• Must be able to independently interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms twice per shift
• Neuro/stroke experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Current New York RN license (required at upload; facility will not pend)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Strong proficiency in cardiac/telemetry and med-tele nursing
• ACLS and BLS (AHA) required
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Personal vehicle required
• Must have completed verbal de-escalation training (Welle or CPI) prior to onboarding
• 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required with submission

Additional Details

• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
• Dress code: Solid-color scrubs; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• Requested time off must be disclosed at submission; no RTO approved after upload (5-day maximum)
• Facility cancellation policy: up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
• Candidates with permanent addresses in select upstate New York counties are not eligible; confirm eligibility prior to submission
• Start date: December 14, 2026
