Cardiac Critical Care Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Critical Care Nurse for its intensive care unit. You'll provide direct patient care to acutely ill cardiac patients in a fast-paced, clinically dynamic environment.

Schedule & Contract

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week × 12 hours = 36 hours/week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 19, 2026

Clinical Scope

You'll care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures, managing post-operative complications, hemodynamic monitoring, and acute cardiac events. The unit handles high-acuity patients requiring skilled nursing assessment and intervention.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac critical care experience
• NIHSS certification required
• Current RN license in Georgia
• BLS/ACLS certifications

What We're Looking For

A self-directed nurse comfortable working independently on nights, with strong assessment skills and the ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. You should be comfortable with continuous cardiac monitoring, vasoactive drips, and rapid response situations.
